The netgear cm400 docsis 3. Is a simple device to install. It is small and easy to set up anywhere without taking up much space, and still comes with enough lan ports for a few devices.

Bought april 2017, over a year of quality service. Works flawlessly with xfinity and is super inexpensive. Works well with my 50mb service.

Cons

Using the hotspot option on my work mobile caused a lot of issues at the office. Going with one of these instead:https://www.

Was not cleared of previous users wifi name or password (unable to activate) had to return and lost 5 days productivity. Some reports of this issue being regional due to the firmware that is rolled out in different areas.
