Netgear's support is atrocious. What a piece of junk. It's a shame that netgear don't make the limitations clear.

Simple, small hide away unit, and worked straight out of the box.

The netgear gs108 fixed the network issue i was having.
I ran a lot of cat6 for my gaming area and instead of taking up all the ports on my router i wired everything into my netgear.
The prosafe routers seem to go on forever.

If you dont need any of these you might find a cheaper unmanaged switch is fine for you but qos might be worth playing around with

In short you can limit how much a device can pull from the network so if your connection is suffering because someone in the house is downloaded or streaming too much you can put a cap on this

Be aware though its not got dhcp built in so if youre buying it for vlans youll need a dhcp server too
