Pros
It works well with a netgear wifi router. Modems provide a hard-wired ethernet connection.
Great price for a cheap upgrade - hopefully it lasts. Purchased the extra warranty just to be safe.
Cons
Lousy unusable interface with no configuration other than a username and password change capability. Needs to be reset almost daily to keep usable speeds on spectrum. According to rcn technician it cannot take advantage of 330 mbps. Has rattling insid... Read More

Quality
Easy to install and connect, great buy, however still awaiting the insurance that should have accompanied this product.
Really great modem , works very well.
Devices unable to remain connected with the cable company supplied router/modem.
Competitiveness
I was hesitant to get a refurb, but so far so good with no complaints.
Also, a great modem at a cheaper price to run your cox cable off of.
Read anyway, i know better than to trust comcast.

I was able to achieve 200 mbps down and 35 mbps up on optimum cablevision in north new jersey

Based on my testing i think we need 16x4 in order to get above 140 mbps in my area

It clearly says it is not for wifi however i didnt read that part because i went by what comcast said
