Pros

The footprint of the unit is half of what the old xfinity router while giving better performance and control. The signal is good, however, the speed is not great. Love the netgear gateway software on my pc.

Cons

A very disappointing and poor customer service. They only have a 90 day warranty and when you call customer service after that 90 days, you're told to purchase a plan if you want to troubleshoot. Pass on this product.

The outdated version works a million times better. Shame that these routers aren't built to be reliable longer than about a year. Only 7 months used. Is now failing.

All in all i paid around $50 for it, it's saving me $15 a month, so in another 3 months i'll be very happy with it.

Wow, getting this set up was a massive pain in the @$$.

I purchased this netgear n600 wifi cable modem router (c3700) as a replacement for an older 3g wifi modem/router.

I always prefer a netgear product to any other brand – for me they are a symbol of reliability!

It doesn't seem to be as fast as the xfinity equipment, but it's fast enough.
