Pros

This product is a no-brainer for me. It delivers as it is advertised. This is ideally what i would recommend something like this for, a backup.

Tp-link ac1750 archer a7 is stable as a primary internet connection. Works flawlessly with my mx64 and google fi as the lte provider. Tells my gateway to utilize the next wan at so-and-so address when fiber dies.

The access point works as a broadband base station. It also offers a cellular fallback for when broadband is down. It's easy to use and can be configured in about 20 minutes.

Cons

It works for the first two days when i unplug the cable coming from the modem. I've gotten new sims, did all firmware updates and tried every tweak in the book and this is still unusable. You have to reset it each time it drops lte.

Netgear ime is not compatible with verizon's 4g network. Only verizon supports the units ime. Verizon sees the imei flapping and they lockout the device until you contact them. Verizon's internet devises are a joke!

The nighthawk app that come with it is helpful to get started but it wouldn't stop sending me blank notifications. But cudy has no app. Is it that netgear doesn't think home users are subject to hackers, script kiddies, and identitiy theft?
