Cons

The sales pitch is that you can connect 30 wifi devices. I have to reboot at least once per day. Some only loaded half way. Rebooting the router was the only fix to get it back online.

Netgear's warranty is terrible. You only get 90 days of complimentary tech support. Look else where for a reputable router maker.

What a crock that is. It's not for me. But then. What a racket.

Quality

Great signal strength and coverage for our large house.

It is easy to configure, works exactly how it should, is reliable, and has multiple ssid's that are configurable.

It pings your phone every time it scans a device, which is pretty annoying.

And best off, it hooked directly up to my fiber box from my provider!

Price

Its a great router for the money, and i highly recommend it.

Packaging/appearance

Router came in its factory box with the power brick and an ethernet cable (it was only a cat 5e, but i had a cat 6 550mhz one on hand).

I followed the instructions exactly like they said (included in the box).

Competitiveness

I really don't know much about routers or modems and quite honestly, i couldn't tell anyone the difference.

Netgear dropped readyshare which i used a lot.
