Pros
The nighthawk satellite has that extra port. Get full speeds all over the house and in the yard. Parfait pour la maison. My roku has the satellite right beside it but it sticks to primary even though signal is weak.

The nighthawk app is really useful (ios) and i also found inssider ( a free wifi sniffer program) very useful in my setup. Small footprint of devices allows me to hide them easily. Easy install and good mesh coverage throughout the house.
Cons
Satellites work intermittently and constantly lose wireless backhaul signal.
The only way to get some info is to spend a couple of super-fun hours trying to reach support and squeeze info from them.
Netgear is not the one. Technically the nighthawk just isn't there.

Ip configs or other pass throughs not available through the app but some can be set through browser local ip settings
