Pros

The wifi is plenty fast to stream multiple 4k tvs/projectors. Getting a refurbished (renewed) unit at a considerable savings put a big smile on my face. The ax4200 speed ensures fast internet throughout our office.

Five bars all through the house and all around the outside of the house. With coverage up to 7,500 sq. Signal in main house from parent node is great no more dead zones! I have a fairly large house (4200 sq ft) that mostly frame and drywall.

When it's finished downloading extract the zip file to your desktop. Easy app install. The satellite staions have ethernet ports which can be used to connect other wired equipment.

Cons

Customer support is an absolute joke. Everyone you speak to is borderline hard to understand. Thirdly, the support they give is absolutely worthless. They just punt you off to their forums.

Once orbi hits a wall of what it can handle, i lose all connection to everything and have to do a restart. The more annoying part is that updates cause issues more than once either satellites get disconnected and need manual intervention.

The signal is weak everywhere but the room hosting the main hub. The only things that work reliably are the two computers that are hardwired to the units by ethernet cables.

Firmware is so old on the units that they're shipping that the much newer firmware that the app happily updates the router to is unable to communicate with the older firmware on the satellite.

The orbi app constantly crashes and i can never get into the app.
