Pros

Performance is stellar! Several 4k tv’s streaming 4k content at once without issues.

The orbi app keeps track of all of my devices; when active or dormant. It also has an iot login (not a separate network) that assigns devices to the 2.

Cons

Support is outsourced. Subscription is required to get what is clearly regarded as subpar. Product &t support is no good when needing experience/expert help. They terminate direct support once the 1-year warranty expires.

The orbi is being returned. Tried for over 2 weeks. My only option left is vote with my feet and let them sell their wares to someone not needing to cover as large an area. That’s what i will be doing and it won’t be a netgear.

Freez up, wouldn't communicate, took 4 hrs to almost connect things. It refuses connections because its dhcp server is buggy.

The speed of the wi-fi 6e is less than 1gbps. Most of the times is around 500-600 mbps. The amount of data loss between the rbre960 router and gateway is astonishing. Average download and upload speeds are 150-300mbps up and 808mbps down.

it is outrageously expensive! You would expect it to be intuitive and simple to use, but it is not. By far, the most difficult unit to setup and use.
