Pros

The modern aesthetics allow it to blend effortlessly into the home environment. The performance is absolutely stellar! It's also made by a great trusty company that makes great products.

It allows you to reboot the router remotely (fortunately that’s almost never needed) the only reason it takes that long is the reboot cycle takes that 5 minute diagnostic sequence each time.

Our current house is only about 1900sq/ft, but we’re looking to upgrade. This router will live up to its expectation of 6k sf.

Cons

More than once the firmware has been buggy and it's incredibly difficult to rollback/disable updates. The app interface is garbage. My samsung s23 ultra phone drops the connection constantly so i turn off wifi to have a voice call on whatsapp.

Buyer beware of netgear products. You have to buy expensive same router which is way expensive than any router. You could at least get some of these premium features for free.

Orbi claims it supports both 5 ghz and 2. Ghz. When they do, i get speeds below 1 mbps, while the router is getting 900 mbps. It makes no difference if the bottleneck is the speed comcast delivers to your home.

Wasted a couple of days rebooting the orbi from the app or by unplugging the power. There is no option to disable 6ghz and or set mlo network. Try plugging it into a different outlet. It's possible i received a faulty device.

Their orbi stuff continues to be categorically awful. I have to do mac spoofing if i don't want my isp to make me wait 20 minutes to flush my address.
