If you're tired of battling unreliable wifi and crave a network that just works, the orbi 970 mesh system is the way to go.

Signal strength is great. Using all 3 covers my front & back yards along with my garage. Great coverage throughout the house, and even faster. While gaming/streaming and working on big data - i have not had any drop offs or data disconnects.

There is no option to disable 6ghz and or set mlo network. Wasted a couple of days rebooting the orbi from the app or by unplugging the power. Orbi claims it supports both 5 ghz and 2.

Netgear needlessly limits the functionality of its flagship mesh wifi router. The product has a short one year warranty, that breaks unannounced.

As soon as orbi is plugged in, it throttles down to the 90's. I get speeds below 1 mbps, while the router is getting 900 mbps. I guess it makes no difference if the bottleneck is the speed comcast delivers to your home.

Their orbi stuff continues to be categorically awful. If something happens to your main orbi router then there is no use of nodes. This orbi wifi 7 system is way overpriced for being so dysfunctional.
