Pros & Cons
Pros
Wifi6 meshes are the way to go! There are enough ports for 3 hardwired ethernet connections as well as a dedicated yellow port for the modem. This is worth taking the time to setup (and it's not that hard to setup either thanks to the web gui and netg... Read More
That bit above isn't inherently problematic. Different is fine but i do like when that is pointed out.
Cons
Support is also painful. I get it's outsourced to folks where english is a second language, but the quality of the call (voip) is terrible. After 90 days the netgear tech support costs more than i paid for the hardware. I am hopeful the equipment i go... Read More
Main terrible customer service from netgear. Set up of the product was horrible. The problem is where it's not ok makes it not acceptable.
With the satellites disconnected, only the router will accept any wireless clients, so 1/3 of my network is out of range of the router and therefore offline.
The install documentation is inaccurate. The instructions are just slightly wrong enough to cause you to spend literally hours trying to debug. Inisght application is buggy, and doesn't synchronize with the web interface on the router.

Easy to use and management with a best bandwidth experience , excellent !
The system's seamless roaming and scalability are standout features, enhancing productivity and future-proofing our connectivity needs.

Installed this system in less then an hour, which included installing two satellites up high on the walls.
Price
Got this for $20 instead of msrp due to a mistake on prime day and they honored it.
Very happy for the price, although its more of a setup and forget router since the app is not the best at all.
Shipping
They arrived on time and were packaged carefully.
Competitiveness
The speed is about 650mbps at 2 meters distance which is much better than 350mbps of the rbk13.
The signal coverage is significantly better than the old rbk13.
Have tried a couple of other brands this is the best!
Depending what you are trying to accomplish as far as distance, look and design these are likely more then enough for people in... Read More

I have not used the router capability of this unit

In particular i have learned through experimentation that the sxr30 cannot be managed over a vlan that uses tagged packets which is unusual for a managed switch or other device that uses 802

So the only way i found to get this unit working with a trunk line from the main switch was to set up the trunk line on the switch with a mix of tagged and untagged packets—in particular untagged packets for whichever vlan will be used to manage the orbi sxr30 and tagged packets for every other vlan

The management vlan will then remain untagged on the sxr30 even if it’s tagged elsewhere on your network and when setting up the wireless network for the management vlan a “vlan profile” should not be used leave it as the default profile

I dont have an ax card in my laptop or nuc and just recent wifi 5 certified triple band wireless cards ill probably add a newer card even through the systems are older and the chip sets i put a more recent generation in a dell workstation and it worked fine to get the higher grade enterprise features from the intel cards so dont know why it wont work on the nuc for the number of bands it has at least till then i cant do some of the tests i could do over matching wifi connections and the smartphones with ax well im old school so use at least a laptop os to test networks
