Orbi wi-fi is light-years ahead of my isp provided router. Dedicated 5ghz back-haul channel makes all the difference.

Go through the step by step setup, as guided by the app, about 10 mins. No real dislikes other than the pushes via in-app ads and messaging to utilize the bundled netgear and bitdefener security products. Couldn't be happier with this setup.

Cons

Horrible router & satellite. Have been using netgear since 2005 but never been so disappointed. Extremely disappointed and did not expect from a premium product like this.

Competitiveness

I put the other satellite in my barn (through a cat6 connection) and i'm getting 480mbps in my 2100sf garage, corner to corner.

The dedicated 5ghz back-haul channel makes all the difference.

Just installed the orbi rbk753 mesh wifi6 system replacing a tp-link deco s4 wifi 5 mesh system.

If i have any criticism at all, i wish there'd been one more cat5 port on the back of the router.
