Follow the instructions. Never did anything like this before. I'm not one for reading instructions and this was no exception. must of been a known issue.

This unit outperforms my other 4g modem router with a cat12 modem by a lot. The functionality is incredibly user friendly and the best part is i can take it anywhere in my bag with my laptop.

Cons

Netgear's info and reps are terrible. Beware when ordering. Now that i am past the 30-day return window, the unit is basically a $400 paperweight.

But (with verizon) it disconnects continuously. Verizon is blacklisting it due to the incompatible imei. Though it does work on verizon sim, the speed isn’t that much better than my lb1120, this thing is slow, restarting is slow.

Netgear really pushes their phone app and you are punished if you choose to use the browser interface. Netgear communities say that some are using t-mobile; however, that is only if you know how to use networking tools. Read other reviews about incomp... Read More
