Pros
Signal strength is just phenomenal. No more complaints from the family about losing wifi signal upstairs or connectivity issues. Some spotty areas in my basement and some rooms (slower than expected) orbi is a home run with all the bases loaded.

The new king is the orbi mesh wifi system. Hooray for my new netgear orbi rbr750 router and pair of satellites. The orbi app also provides a plethora of cool options to control your wifi system.
No more internet drop outs, no more dead zones, no no more rebooting. No more buffering. Now downloading is uniformly at that level throughout the house.
Cons
The wifi is unstable, especially on mack ios devices. After a month it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every others days. Even streaming prime now is jittery and my wifi cuts in and out 10 ft from the satellite.
Coverage is good, but there’s a major flaw. Less than awesome.

Really happy with the quality of this mesh wifi system
Works as advertised and strongest signal quality throughout our 4level townhouse
Set up wasnt the smoothest as sync and detection with the app was finicky as times
In the end it just didn’t seem work the cost of the product because we were looking to have a more stable connection to begin with

I dont recommend it given the price
Like speed and simple to set updislike price buying additional satellites to replace my older ones broke the bank

I carefully preserved all the packaging when i opened it because i expected to send it back
Competitiveness
We previously used a dir890l ac3200 router for a little over 6 years
Right now we have about 4550 devices connected and 75 of them via wifi
To my surprise my computer wouldn’t connect to 5ghz network even though i was only two drywalls away
The 5ghz band can be turned off to help any devices that only function at 2
