Excellent power and range and i have an older house, 2 story
They were easy to set up and provided excellent signal strength to my outside bar that always had poor to none.
Device steering is always automatic and it never works.
I updated my internet service and upon doing so was getting sporadic lags during peak times due to all the devices i have connected.
Price
This set was a bit pricey however, it's a netgear so you get what you pay for.

Promptly returned the service provider's router the next day after installing this.
Competitiveness
The other orbi is its “satellite” and helps the internet speed and connection on different floors or areas of the house.
Check for other mesh systems that maybe offer better device steering because it's non existent on the orbi's.
It is very costly, costco seems have a better deal !
I used to own the linksys velops for a couple of year, the connection range is better but the app is more simplified than theirs.

I dont care which company we were with and all the bells and whistles plus a multitude of promises we just never had the coverage or guarantees promised

I finally started doing a bit of my own research and calling or stopping by every electronic store in the city and asking questions and normally got the store sells pitch or bs finger pointing exercise

Best part of my research was that i didnt need the most expensive router aka extenderboaster and could purchase one that covered well over my entire house and property and at a price that didnt require me going into debt for something i truly didnt need

Setting these two extenders up was so simple that i disconnected them and asked the wife to follow the instructions and see if she could do it
