I connected the units without any surge protection filters so am really disappointed with the performance between floors.
Needed 2 more - so bought a pair of pl1000 - plugged in and they worked immediately without any additional configuration.

The flashing lights led indicator to show when the network is being actively accessed has been removed and replaced with a traffic light type led indicator to show line speed between powerline units

I expect the latency is lower than 1ms but its actually 24ms
