Pros
It's hard to overemphasize the impact good wifi has on your day. The system is triband so i have tablets and phones on one ssid and laptops on another.
The app is brilliant an so easy to use with a great user interface. I particularly like the feature which monitors and tests the bandwidth (download and upload) from your provider. Well worth the money.
Cons
Netgear deserve 0/5 for this issue; amazon deserve 5/5. This opens your router to cyber attacks and so can not be safely used. Technical knowledge from the staff is nothing more than reading from a poorly written script.
Firmware update seems to have broken it again, so i had to manually revert to an earlier version. I reset the router on multiple occasions and re-entered settings manually, which after the 3rd or 4th time in a week becomes frustrating. The only work a... Read More

Brilliant hardware, worked wonders for my wi-fi coverage and speed.
Very good router with strong signal and easy to setup.
Eventually turned everything off, left it for an hour or so, went back and connected first time.
2 hours later to get fully working and not 10 mins as advertised.

Competitiveness
Compared to my virgin router this has no lag and easily copes with the 2 work computers an 15+ devices that are connected to it.
Unlike other brands this has not dropped out or failed to see all my devices in the home network yet.

Didnt quite provide wifi across my whole house through thick brick walls but should be fine for partition walls
