Pros

Logitech transporter is an amazing media streamer. This is the second readynas product i've owned. Worked dependably for over 3 years hosting cds for streaming to a logitech transporter.

Cons

Readynas loses connection frequently and has to be rebooted. The interface is slow and had a ton of bugs and glitches or features that just didn't work. Netgear support is one of the worst i've ever encountered and lost countless hrs being passed arou...  Read More

Competitiveness

I bought this unit to upgrade from a readynas duo i have been using for a few years.

This is the second readynas product i've owned.

My recommendations for a hassle-free setup and installation are: 1) install two new drives before turning on the unit.

I had bought a dlink 2 bay dns-321 with 800mhz atom single core, 256mb and was annoyingly slow (8-12gm/sec on gigabyte network).
