Pros & Cons
Pros
Fácil de conectar y con gran capacidad de cobertura. Era lo que yo esperaba. I like the size of the extender as it plugs in to an outlet and takes up little room.
Both work shop and home are well insulated with foil backed foam; almost a faraday enclosure. My weak wi-fi signal was extended using the netgear n300. Use the computer to type in mywifiext. My router is in the living room.
Cons
The website page for instal is not reachable. Even resetting it to factory presets will not correct the problem.
I have to unplug this device almost daily because it loses sync. This pos drops the router signal constantly. It's only about 10 feet from the router.
It is not as simple as plugging it onto your wall and pressing a button. Press * or the better way is via their website. Chat box pops up and they tell me they're going to call me, which they did. Tried to plug it in and connect it.

Price
I am not being paid to say any of this i am saying this because i believe in netgear products and services 1000% & tell friends.
Very happy with the good value: price paid and performance.
This one had decent reviews and cost wise was reasonable.
Packaging/appearance
The box was correct, but had a different model netgear extender inside, contacted amazon and told them the problem and returned.
Competitiveness
I don't agree that netgear is a scam company and i am only slightly tech literate.
If you have a wi fi printer it most likely works the same, my epson and hp does.
Similar to repeaters used by amateur radio, police and cell phone towers.
