Pros
If you have a wps switch on your router, this is very easy to install. Easy to setup, very simple to use.
Bought to boost the signal to a ring camera outside on my drive, through the house wall. Costs a lot in comparison to its rivals, but then you get a lot more features and more importantly a stable and secure wifi signal.

Wifi signal meter confirms this makes zero difference. If it's not in line of sight to the router, it really struggle to pick up the wifi signal. Going to try the access point option with a secondary router hard wired.

I plugged it in to an ethernet cable connected to my router and followed the simple instructions which includes downloading an app to manage it

I set it up as a second wifi network different name to my original one which means i can give people access to it but not my main wifi

This can also be used by connecting it over wifi as an extender and the suggestion is to use the ext suffix to your wifi name

So this is not a mesh extender it needs to have a different name to your original wifi

But since a lot of devices recognise the ext suffix as an alternative wifi name it might work as though it were a mesh system

Ease of set up piece of cake so long as you follow the instructions and set it up next to your wifi router i had 10 minutes in the pantry on a very hot day
