The extender is much easier to use than the main router. It is mounted on a wall 20 meters away from the primary router. This allows the extender to be used in the barn as well as in the house. The main router is located in the garage.

I think it's setup well for a layman to setup even if you don't have experience with this stuff. Took less than 10 minutes to completely setup. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Mobile app is a junk. Sometimes the blinky lights don’t even work, so it’s no good at an xmas ornament. This device is garage.

The same product had been registered to one user in 2019 and again to someone else in 2020. Wasn't the quick and easy plug and play in my situation. Complete pita and will probably be returned.

The extender does not show up in the network list to connect to, so it is useless. The g1100 is a bridge type, not changeable by user, nor would i wish to change it. Needs constant resets and password linking back into the network. Won't work with may...  Read More
