Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install with netgear insight app. One small issue is how ethernet cable plugs into unit it doesn't have carve out so that unit could lay flat if not using wall or ceiling brackets.
Wi-fi speeds for single client under windows are rated at 450mbps and 574mbps for the wax630e. It has a top rated speed of 7. Gbps and can support up to 456 client devices at once. It works great with 1 gbps speed in my area.
This netgear access point was sold as new by ipc-store. It had previously been configured and registered with netgear by a previous owner. It supports multiple ssid networks with different passwords.
Really happy with the ap. Fast and dependable wifi. The ap is pricy but it does work.
The signal is strong and i was able to remove the extenders i had in the garage. There’s no need to worry about disabling the routing or dhcp functions.
Cons
This software is unacceptable. Makes it impossible to have it mounted flush. On my first attempt at using their business-grade devices, i was left with a sour taste in my mouth.
The remote access setup interface is a total joke. The app you have to use is just substandard and slow to react. Setup instructions are clear, but results are terrible.
Highlights
Quality
The wifi signal is excellent and reaches all the areas my previous mesh system did with just this one ap.

Local configuration is handled by a straightforward web interface, but it tests your patience through sluggishness and poor optimization.
Price
Definitely a niche product if you can wait 18 months especially with wifi 6 prices falling through the floor; given the cost here, 4 stars.
The ap is pricy but it does work.
I am not paid by netgear (unless they want to pay me, lol), but i love this thing.
Shipping
Update:ipc-store contacted me and acknowledged their error in selling a used item as new.

What i don’t like is that with ep you lose client device capacity and coverage distance in exchange for greater speed
