Pros & Cons
Pros
Fast download and upload, almost as fast as cabled connection. Ghz and 5ghz bands work well when connected to the netgear wac104. Gives us full mbs now at 5g speed to reduce 2. Ghz and 5ghz speed.
Setting the wac124 as a router was simple enough and there is a setup wizard to help. The device is well ventilated and does not get hot.
The web interface is simple enough to navigate around. The router comes with some nice features. It creates a wifi network in a offices which are remote from where our main cable/network set up is located.

It ships in router mode, which is * since it's advertised as a wireless access point. Works as a wifi point to an extent although with a weaker range than the old range extender it replaced. Does not support bridge technology for wireless extenders.
