This adapter works fine with fhdb, but i do have a couple of suggestions.
Unscrew the metal plate from the adapter to make it sit flush with the ps2.
Tried both seagate and wd (wd20ezbx) hard drives and they work fine, but this adapter works better to 3.

Fhdb prebuilt images may or may not work they are often configured for different hdd profiles and thus may not load properly

It is best to use fmcb and reformat the drive natively to make it bootable

With smaller drives youll need to shim the drive or else it may pop off the adapter if jostled

This is more of a fault of the ps2 than this product though

This doesnt have an ethernet adapter so youll need to physically remove the drive to add anything to it
