Pros

Gel eyeliner won't smudge. Goes on creamy and smudging is easier. It is thick yet soft and glides easily during application.

The only issue is that it started to dry up into little flakes at the end of the day. I just wish they would adjust the amount of product in it. My one complaint is the small amount you get - it runs out really quickly!

Cons

Dry, pulls on eye lid, does not draw solid line. It is as one reviewer phrased “ like a crayon’. Either you use enough pressure to get a line and wind up with a shockingly thick one, or you try to go lightly and it goes on crumbly.

The new formula has such a tiny lead that it breaks easily, it smears and runs during the day and irritates my eyes and gunks up my contacts. False advertising. This is the only neutrogena product i have ever used that i didn't like. It's no longer wo... Read More

Things i don’t like: very easy to break, making the product last shorter than i want— each pencil lasts 2-3 weeks for me.

There's another brand that i really like color-wise that claims to have staying power, but without primer it wears off by lunch.

For over 20 years i've spent lots of money and tried so many products including the expensive stuff from aveda.
