Very comfortable, well-ventilated shoes with good cushioning. Liked the fit. It fits snug but is comfortable.

For you other oldies out there, theses are the closest things in feel to my 1960-70s tretorns, without the three week self destruct mode. I've had 3 different versions of the 1006, the v1 is the heaviest and stiffest.

Nb 1006 shoes are great for competitive pickleball. Support for side to side (and sliding) motion, quick starts, and sudden stops. Hard soles over the soft cushion rubber they use.

I get around that by getting the 2e wide and putting in an extra insole from another pair. I use new balance because they cater to people with wide feet. Very difficult to find xtra wide shoes for younger people.
