Pros
Nb recognize that wide-footed guys are people too, so they offer so much of their footwear in wide widths. True to size (10 x-wide for me) and excellent room in the toe box. Wear a size 16 w mens.
New balance 481 has these cutouts that exposes the softer part of the shoe. Love them. They're lightweight and flexible. Fairly comfortable. Still a lightweight comfortable sneaker.
Cons
Black shoes (flashlight inside) shows dime sized holes on both the right and left shoe. No real padding in the soles. Back heel is not attached well and has crushed down.
Stick with the suede new balance with the thin soul or else getting 996 for comfortable and compatibility. Here it is may 22 and they already have a hole where the stitching did not catch correctly.
Shoe is not a true size. I always take a size ten but the left shoe was intolerable! I have narrow feet, these are d width shoes.

This is my fourth new balance 410 purchase over a 10-year period.
For me, i always have to move a size up when i buy newbalance shoes.

Usually the tread covers the entire bottom of the shoe
