Pros

Shoes are incredible and i highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable recreational sport shoe. My only real gripe is they're a bit big at the opening which means they don't feel as firmly on my feet as they could. They are not quite as good ... Read More

Great value for money perfectly fits me. They are also a bit large so i can use a thicker insole part.

New balance is the only maker of these types of shoes that i can wear. All others have too much arch support and cause my feet to go numb. Standard new balance mid-line shoe, looks good, will last about a year from prior walking experience with nbs.

Cons

The front end of the shoe caves in instead of going flat from the first lace to the toe. The tongue is extremely far too short. The shoe itself is narrower than my current 4e new balance shoes.

I like the sturdiness fit and comfort of the shoe even with a 3/4 in orthotic it fits very well!

This particular design is sturdy and strong while being appealing to the eye.

I bought these for path running, and they are too clunky for that.

If it is compressed - it will not come back to it's original form making the edge rub into your achilles tendon and very uncomfortable.

Good value new balance running shoe -- i've been a customer since the late 1980s.

Packaging/appearance

The product arrived in a sturdy outer box and in excellent condition.

The packaging however was damaged so i do think it was a returned item but the shoes were in good shape and fit fine

Competitiveness

New balance is all i ever order, because other brands do not offer a wide variety of choices for my situation.

These are very similar to my hiking shoes.

I have somewhat wider feet, and new balance is one of the few companies to sell athletic shoes in wider sizes.

Also, unlike some other brands, the insole can be removed to allow the shoes to air out after use.
