Pros

There is a lot of padding and it is tough tightening them down for a snug fit. I live in the country, so i have lots of rusty gates and i oil them when the squeaking gets too loud.

Cons

Toe box is too low for my foot because i require an aftermarket thickly padded insole. The velcro on the straps doesn’t go the length of the strap and so i have to tighten it more over my instep to secure it properly.

The shoes are way too small. Too much of a hassle to purchase with these return issues. The shoe is not nearly as comfortable as the more expensive sas shoes.

These shoes are well made and very easy to put on.

They have always been good quality and lasted for me.

After 4 months of heavy use the bottom layer of rubber is starting to peal off.

These bad boys have velcro straps that a toddler could operate.

Price

This my third pair of the nb 577, and the only reason i went to an avia was price point.

Packaging/appearance

Nice looking sneakers and so easy to take off and put on !

The velcro straps in these shoes also last longer than those in other shoes i've purchased.
