Pros
They show minimal wear on the soles, and the tops look nearly new. A pair usually lasts me a year. They are the most comfortable shoes i have found.
New balance shoes come in the extra wide width he needs. Hook and loop (velcro) makes it fast and easy to get the shoe really tight as he recommends. Toe box width is good.
Cons
Whatever is the reasoning for new balance to cheapen their products it won’t work on this customer. All i can say to any potential buyer is beware! A disappointment for sure.
The sole is very stiff. The so called leather is hard and stiff. And these soles are lumpy. Ordered second pair of similar shoe (nut different model) and found same issue. It is very uncomfortable and it now decorates my wardrobe.

So i'm always in contact with the shoe.
Good quality, works for somewhat overweight adult older male, than doesn't like the shoestrings.

I like these shoes especially because my special needs son needs a small mens shoe and it is hard to get one to fit
