Pros

The 577s are all leather uppers, without the fabrick transition seams. These are so comfortable and durable. Spend a lot of time in the cooler.

New balance seems to have changed their size chart. This is the first time that my size shoe fits very tight. Otherwise the shoes seem to fit fine.

Cons

The insoles and inner materials are not comfortable and the glues used to hold together the outer materials fail prematurely. Left shoe's lace sewed to bottom of the shoe sole and can't remove.
