They appear the same quality as all in the past.
Many reviews i have read state that the v2,v3 etc are not the same quality shoe, especially in the width department.

I did not like the 608v2 and was very disappointed when new balance changed my favorite shoe

The original 608s are the best all around sneaker that new balance ever made too bad they ruined a perfect thing with their v2 and v3s which were obvious attempts to cheapen production and pawn them off as improvements on the originals
