Pros

Great buy and very comfortable and durable. A cheaper but quality version of the mx 519, roughly half the price. But the main reason for going with new balance is their commitment to a wide verity (pun intended) of width's.

They fit him great and they have great arch support. Insoles are not overly cushioned or intrusive on the instep or arch. Works well for him. He has very wide feet and has a difficult time finding shoes to fit.

Cons

There is a seam that protrudes into the side of the toe bed well over an eighth inch. This shoe has a polyester lining. They appear to have 1 inch foam heels but somehow have no cushion.
