Pros
This brand remains one of my favorite brands for shoes. New balance is one of the only manufacturers to produce wide width shoes. This shoe gives me the firm fit i need to help with my balance.
These would have been good enough for grandpa and dad. Good support and comfort without the padding being thick like house slippers. Only complaint is that the glue used to bond the soles on is not very durable.
Cons
The last 3 pair i have bought the glue holding the soles on is no good. Same exact total length. The laces are never the correct length.

Need to add insole one is removable but is just a thin piece of foam useless but shoe is good value basic shoe in large wide size

Ordered 3 pairs had to return one stitching faulty 2 pieces of shoe simply not stitched at all other two pairs fine

Leather which is really artificial leather ie waste leather dust and vinyl plastic is very soft and will not take abuse or rough wear

More expensive nb 857 is better made with better insole and in sole roll bar and better leather but costs twice as much
