Pros
Unlike most of the shoe laces i have had on other brands of athletic shoes, these laces never come undone. Midfoot fit keeps my toes away from the toe box. Even with the foot pad removed, the shoes still fit well.
New balance 806 are great for pickleball. The 806 v1 is a solidly built shoes. Bought for pickleball in missouri.
Cons
They are identically priced. Unfortunately, it's too late for us to get a refund. Purchases many nb shoes and this model is terrible.
Construction causes immense metatarsal pain. There is literally no padding and it hurts my feet. The stitching is subpar.
After researching this shoe, this seems to be a common problem. Seems like a faulty pair of shoes. Structure design problem is alarming.

Competitiveness
These shoes work perfectly for an outdoor pickleball court.
These may be your granpa's shoes but they have the right balance (pun) between sturdyness, weigth, etc.
Broke in after 2-3 days of pickleball.

Unfortunately the company no longer makes my favorite crosstrainer the 624 and the 623 model does not come in a narrow width

Most importantly i wear a 13 us in brands like reebok nike and adidas but for these 13 was too small and i had to reorder them in 14
