Shoe is not cheap and will only last a very short time! They are identically priced. Purchases many nb shoes and this model is terrible.
The inside shoe dimension is smaller and tighter. The toe box is extremely narrow. This particular tennis shoe was marked with the wrong width.
After researching this shoe, this seems to be a common problem. Unfortunately, it's too late for us to get a refund, but lesson learned. Seems like a faulty pair of shoes.

These may be your granpa's shoes but they have the right balance (pun) between sturdyness, weigth, etc.
Broke in after 2-3 days of pickleball.

I also have a pair of new balance court shoes that are made of synthetic materials and are lighter that i use on indoor courts but in reality i dont notice the difference when im playing

The uppers have never shown much wear let alone wear out

The soles wear slowly on the heels and outsole under the ball of my foot as expected and when those two areas wear enough—as expected—i replace the shoes
