Pros
The arch is moderate, and acceptable for someone with very flat feet. This shoe has eliminated the pain i had in my feet from diabetic neuropathy. Unfortunately, these shoes are hard to find because new balance makes them in viet nam.
The only issue i have is the tongue. An insert is needed for optimum comfort. Grip well on solid surfaces.
Cons
Nice looking shoes, but pinches my small toes. It's so narrow it comes up between the open side of the upper instead of under to be held in place. Then other times, it creeps up and the plastic top becomes a * just above the top strap.
The bottom moulding adjacent to the sole is in fact a light pinkish/purplish color. Scholl's to find the sole of the shoes is full of hollow holes. It soaks into my socks, and i have to take them off my feet, because of the fumes.

He is super pleased with the comfortable fit and the easy on-and-off of the shoe.
I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate feel and fit and look.
New balance has some quality control issues to work out.

New balance is concentrating on making more popular models and supply will be tight for most of this year if not later
