Pros
Strong, but strong, they never loosen accidentally. Ease of putting on @ 2 or 3 a. M. The hook & loop straps are quick and easy.

Cons
Shoes are not comfortable hard to walk in with no traction. The shoes squeak when i walk. Sizes mean nothing unless you can ty them on.
New balance wants me to pay to return the defective shoes then do without shoes for several weeks while they process the return and decide what to do. Returned, no hassle. Very disappointed.
Synthetic collar cushioning has broken down. Plastic rings for the velcro straps are hard to move. The tongue creeps up.
Shoe has a very cheap look/feel, not very supportive. My tenure with them is done. They'll fail long before the shoe would, under conservative use, ordinarily deteriorate.
