Pros
The are awww comfortable, while having a useful sole patter that normal orthopedic generally don't have. The heel fabric and padding does seem to wear out over time but it's not a big issue.
Toe box is ok not overly roomy but it is rounder and fits ok. This is for my son with a 3x wide foot.
Cons
The comfort of the foot well and insole area is terrible. The leather on these indonesian-made shoes is insufficiently tanned.

New balance walking shoe's have went downhill i try to grab these up while i can the quality of the newer shoes has went down

I would not exercise in these beyond walking as they seem a little firmer in the sole than my various new balance running shoes

The treatment he takes causes his feet to hurt and are extremely sensitive
