Pros & Cons
Pros
The shoes are very breathable. Cushioning is just right. They don't suffer the same thing that some other x wide snakers do - where the back being too loose, they're not, they are snug.
These mesh running shoes keep your feet cool in the summer. They're great for running through wet creek beds. Worn with a proper sock, these shoes will last for many years. Buy a pair of these for $20 and you'll never run out of sock money.
These are good trail running shoes for well groomed and maintained trails. Ohh the only negative is the laces loosen up on their own.
The most important thing about the shoes is that they are in fact a wide width. The shoe label actually says 4e which is even wider than i expected with an extra-wide description.
Cons
The heel and toe box are so stiff my nails felt like they were going to come off and my achilles and heel were in agony. The toe box is super stiff and the sole felt pretty weird when just walking.
The lettering is in silver rather than white. They came repackaged in a different box with no tags. My guess is that the cargo in the plane temp got too hot and softened the insole plastic.
Highlights
Quality
6 months in and these shoes are holding up just fine!
Hubby loves these shoes, the extra wide sizes are comfortable, he stands all night at work.
Particularly, the insole is thin and doesn't have any arch support.
The shoe label actually says 4e which is even wider than i expected with an "extra-wide" description.
Price
I got them for under $60 which seems like a good value.
I usually spend an additional $60+ for inserts, but these are comfortable enough without them.
Everyone seems to be wearing hokua walking shoes, but i can’t stomach nearly $200 for a pair of shoes.
Packaging/appearance
The boxes came beat to hell wrapped in a rubber band…but the shoes are awesome!
Looks exactly the same as seen online but they were too small.
