Pros & Cons
Pros
These are great for running through wet creek beds. They help your feet get dry--or at least close to dry--again, fairly quickly.
I recommend ordering a ½ size up if your foot is in the borderline area of either 10 or 10 ½ for fit. Otherwise, this running shoe is perfect.
Ohh the only negative is the laces loosen up on their own.
Cons
The heel and toe box are so stiff my nails felt like they were going to come off and my achilles and heel were in agony. The toe box is super stiff and the sole felt pretty weird when just walking.
The lettering is in silver rather than white. They came repackaged in a different box with no tags. My guess is that the cargo in the plane temp got too hot and softened the insole plastic.
This shoe fits a size small. The sizing is off. Very noticeably small.
Highlights
Quality
Lightweight and the sole is well balanced.
Comfortable and as always, great quality, lightweight!
The shoe label actually says 4e which is even wider than i expected with an "extra-wide" description.
I tend to go through a pair of shoes about every 4-5 months, that's why i buy trail running shoes.
Price
I got them for under $60 which seems like a good value.
I usually spend an additional $60+ for inserts, but these are comfortable enough without them.
Everyone seems to be wearing hokua walking shoes, but i can’t stomach nearly $200 for a pair of shoes.
Packaging/appearance
The gray version i received has a "closed mesh" plastic upper.
Looks exactly the same as seen online but they were too small.

Where there cleared paths these shoes were fine but as things became much more rural and we were trekking through the south africa wilderness these became less reliable and i had to switch to my work boots
