Pros

The fit is excellent, offering ample toe room and a secure lockdown feel. They have a little bit of a harder sole, & not quite as much arch support compared to the classic new balance 574.

Good value for the money. Pretty durable too. The stylish design adds an extra boost of confidence.

Cons

Fresh foam is not the nb i've purchased for years. Usually something like that goes away as they're broken in but it persists. This is the one time that i am wrong. The other shoe is made correctly.

Rubber monstrosity. These shoes are so cheaply manufactured that the toe area is simply applied like paint. The toe box is also way too narrow.

These are just like the last pair of nb my son had, only with tougher soles and water resistant edges, perfect for winter and work shoes.

Hopefully they are made sturdier as well, being that he had the old ones worn through the sides in a few months.

Great for the trail overall, thumbs up for the comfort, but a slight side-eye at the material switch-up.

The price was excellent due to a black friday sale.

Shoe fits as advertised and worth the price paid.

Unlike my experience buying shoes with other vendors, this is a win-win situation.

Sure i own other brands for boots or specific use wear, but i always come back to these shoes (new balance) for daily wear shoes.
