Pros

The heel stability is amazing and makes going over uneven bumpy ground a breeze. They are not the most cushioned trail shoe i have purchased but they are close. They provide ankle support which i haven't been able to find with typical trail shoes.

Tread is great for any conditions and super grippy on dry, wet and sandy terrain. I walk 7 miles each day (5 to 6 days each week) and they have been stellar. I run primarily outdoors on sandy or sometimes muddy trails and a treadmill when weather does...  Read More

Great fit, has quality materials, is lightweight, and seemingly rugged with a vibram outsole. They fit perfectly like a glove.

Cons

The material looks flimsy to the not durable side. They are super comfortable but they are cheaply put together. not durable.

Quality

Well made, good fit for my feet!

Laces are sturdy and should last awhile.

The toe protection scuffs very easily but they are durable.

Great shoe but the toe protect label, and writing on toe of shoe is misleading bc i thought these where safety toe shoes.

Packaging/appearance

These looked great and were a perfect substitute for traditional hiking boots

Competitiveness

It fits the shape of my feet better than most of my other shoes (keen, rockport, kuru, etc.

I was going to buy hoka’s hiking boots but this one’s price was better.

Sadly, these are sized differently than the nb 608.

I got the 4e and they are not as wide as 4e of another brand i often get.

Bought these shoes for some hiking in maine which was pretty rocky with a lot of boulders

You can see in the pictures that some colors have a little goretex tag on the upper by the laces

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I like the shoes a lot but theres a very thick midsole between me and the ground so ill let you know if that reduces my surefootedness on technical trails

And as another reviewer mentioned i dont like the extended outsole lip at the rear which seems like a tripping hazard in rocky terrain so im gonna try to shave it off with a razor without detaching the outsole
