Pros & Cons
Pros
They’re very good for wide feet with a large tow box, but don’t feel too roomy. Details in the stitching and structure are awesome.
The vibram sole is really grippy and solid without sacrificing cushion. Sole is not overly cushioned, but is very comfortable. Good cushion as well as arch support.
Very comfortable, very supportive shoes.
Cons
Shoe is very uncomfortable a, stiff and have extremely small toe box. Where is the center eyelets? There is a twist where the upper is fused to the sole that pinches my foot on one shoe right at the ball of my big toe.
If you're looking for a shoe for durability, these aren't those. I have vans and converse that last longer. I'm not sure what happened between my original purchase from the manufacture to the one from amazon.
Highlights
Quality
The nicely lugged sole on smooth, interior surfaces feels secure, although produces some suction cup sounds at times.
Really comfortable, good traction, light wt and fairly waterproof.

Was able to find a great value here on amazon.

But these shoes are good value for money.
Packaging/appearance
En la foto son de color purpura y los que llegaron son de color negro.
Competitiveness
This shoe has the cushioning that i sought but at a much lower price than hoka trail runners.
My local store didn't have half sizes saved money and better size selection with amazon.
I bought nb after merrell and i can sat that i felt better in merrell.

After thruhiking the 1150 mile ice age national scenic trail last summer in a trail runner with only very thin cushioning and which wore through to the inner sole by 500 miles and which i believe was a contributor to my plantar fasciitis i went on the search for a better shoe and trying the hierro v7

At first i thought that the higher profile due to more cushioning might cause ankle roll on the trail but after more than 1600 trail miles just completed a 500 mile section of the appalachian trail using them that didnt happen

Yes the material used on the front of the shoe is thin and can snag easily when in brush or stickers off the trail i still believe that the highbreathability of that material far outweighs its vulnerability to small snags
