Pros

Did 10 miles right out of the box and by the end of the run, no hot spots or soreness. My husband is a marathon runner and also does endurance events and these have fit perfectly into his shoe rotation!

Cons

The new version of this shoe is nothing like v1. The cushioning has decreased significantly. The upper has a very harsh lace seam just above the mid-foot area.

Nice balance of cushion, weight, stability, and responsiveness.

These new balances are light, comfy, plush & bouncy.

They would not be good i believe for running trails as they are so cushioned there is almost no stability to keep foot centered.

The carbon plate keeps pushing you forward on your toes so it's really uncomfortable to just stand around in them or walk in them.

I thought i was compromising on colorway because of a sale but i was thrilled when i saw them in person.

Hokas have lost their squish, so have a lot of altras, and they've tried to remain competitive with denser eva and recycled crap.
