Pros

The insert they come with are adequate for most people. I wear custom orthotics with these but even without them these shoes were helping my foot pain. This shoe works better than shoes costing 2 or 3 times as much.

The dr schols come set at size 14 and can be trimmed to a lessor size. They fit like a glove. Yes, the laces are a little long.

Cons

The insoles are thin and offer no support. The insole feels like rolled-up folded newspaper. The tongue is too short to curve up the ankle so it pokes into the front of the ankle. The shoes squeak constantly.
