Area around the ankle is well padded, and comes up just a little higher than most low-top shoes, giving a little better support than most. Scholl's insoles with a lot of arch support to straighten out my arches and instep.
They are comfortable. Very stable. Very comfortable too.
It takes awhile to break in. Most shoe retailers don’t stock men’s narrow sizes. Amazon does. The fit is perfect.
Cons
