In fact when i put the shoes on and lace them up you can actually see my socks between the tongue and the side of the shoe where the laces go through it because the shoe has to be spread wide enough to be comfortable

Now that its broke in i like it but new balance seems to make the left shoe just a bit smaller then the right just in back of the little toe this is the second new balance shoe i have gotten with the issue and my wife has seen the same problem with a another new balance shoe
