Pros
Fit and sturdiness is great. I need a 6e width and this is one of the only ones available in that width with leather upper. Sturdy and stable shoe. Roll bar in sole to help with foot roll in.
New balance shoes were not know to me as a teenager. Unfortunately this model looks like it's being discontinued as it is no longer listed on the new balance web site.
Cons
The comfort of the foot well and insole area is terrible. It clicks as he walks and looks to not been sewed properly.

Good for anyone who's feet supinate (walk with the weight mostly on the outside of the feet).

The only thing i didn't like was the price.

One thing they use a cheaper shoestrings than they used to, but still good shoes.
The cheaper shoestrings come untied a little more than the older shoestrings did.
